CVT and ICRC in the PREP team

We are honoured and happy to announce that The Center for Victims of Torture, CVT, are now associate partners in PREP. International Committee of Red Cross (Lebanon) are collaborators. We are honoured and very grateful for the experience and input both these organisations are providing for the PREP course.

CVT works for new ways to advance human rights and build a future free from torture. They do so through research, training, advocacy and their healing services for survivors. An important aim of their work is to plays a role in building a larger vision for the torture rehabilitation movement and they provide a bridge between torture victims, the local community and society as a whole. CVT will share their knowledge and experience by providing material for the PREP course. We see that the network is increasing and we look forward to ongoing and future collaborations.

ICRC have a role to responds quickly and efficiently to help people affected by armed conflict. They also respond to disasters in conflict zones, because the effects of a disaster are compounded if a country is already at war. For PREP, their office in Lebanon contributes with informationa and experience.
