FUTURED researchers to NNMPF

25th conference of Nordic Network for Research in Music Education

FUTURED researchers were traveling to Copenhagen for the Nordic Network for Research in Music Education Conference 3.-5. March 2020.

Catharina Christophersen from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (WNUAS), Silje Valde Onsrud (WNUAS), and Heidi Partti (Uniarts Helsinki) investigated the topic Time for change in Nordic music teacher education? in a roundtable discussion moderated by Magne Espeland (WNUAS). Lia Lonnert from the Linneaus University in Sweden also took part. FUTURED researcher Jan Sverre Knudsen (OsloMet),  and Maria Westvall (Rhythmic Music Conservatory, Copenhagen) were unfortunately not able to attend as planned.

During the conference, the FUTURED researchers also noted in particular the keynote by professor in musikpädagogik from the Universität Hamburg, Jürgen Vogt, in particular noting his relevant call for making music pedagogy political again.
